Rip has been randomly shutting it down trying to get the new server to work.. I apologize for the lack of warning; but I think it's along the lines of as he has time to troubleshoot the new config -- he does. While I'd like to see more communication to the users prior to downtime, I'd more like to see us on the damn dedicated server ASAP. Unfortunately (or fortunately? I don't want it to sound dergetory to Rip); he's the only guy that can work on this portion of the setup -- I don't know his network segments nor have access to the different VM Switches etc. So uhhh.. I'm going to go play Assassin's Creed 2 and pretend I'm an American on Thanksgiving!  |
