I must be very naive to have thought a 'web forum' would be something repairable in a day, at the most. The way this has seemingly turned into some major event ("just three more days, guys!") strikes me as pretty funny. Don't feel bad. I've worked in IT 10 years and thought it would be repairable in a couple of weeks tops. |

We are just finishing up the conversion and putting a little lipstick on the pig. It will be worth giving us a little time to make sure the basic functionalities are working well and that performance is acceptable before opening the floodgates, or trickle gates as the case may be. Either way for better or worse the time is near.

I can also attest to "any minute now".. Conversions are relatively complete, Gedd has some indexing going on and I am working on adding some added admin tools in the background. Rip has some nifty ideas for backup, and I will also ensure an "offsite" backup is being moved regularly to my VPS; so if a nuke lands on that data center we can move the forums to Khazakhstan.
