It is now Day 7 after the collapse of OO island. The raft of refugees have now been at sea for over a week. Some have drifted to the harsh island environment of QT3. Others, have sought refugee in the island of Popehat. No one seems interested in drifting all the way to Bovine Conspiracy, as it is too far way, and it's a damn desert.

In a raft, several refugees, among them Yellowking, PR_GMR, Ceekay, Miltonite, Zaxxon, Fellstrike, and hepcat are starving. Yellowking's stomach grumbles quite loudly.

hepcat: Quiet it down, Yellowking! That sound is terrible.

PR_GMR: I can take it anymore. If I don't eat something, I will die.

Zaxxon: There's nothing to eat. We ran out of rations.

Fellstrike: I think we need to take 'other' actions, gents.

Miltonite: Are you saying what I think you're saying?!

Fellstrike: Yes... We eat whoever dies first.

hepcat: Oh, mama.

Zaxxon: We are not savages!

(Yellowking's stomach grumbles again)

(Everyone slowly turns to Ceekay)

PR_GMR: We could eat Ceekay.

(A look of growing horrific concern comes over Ceekay)

Can someone (briefly) describe the differences between the apparent 3 (or are there more?) forums that GGers moved to?  Just curious.

GT is Gone Gold in its lower population early years
OO is Gone Gold in its higher population later years
Bovine is Gone Gold in its #gg form

Sort of.  Well except for Bovine, that's exactly what it is.

OO has the delightfully dorky, but most fun Forum Games Forum.  Which I objected to at first but has grown on me and encouraged quite a few new games to be tried in a forum environment.  (Diplomacy, Axis and Allies etc...)

Sadly, no matter how many times I click that button, it never has the desired result.  Personally I think Ron needs to integrate an easter egg into that so that every 10,000 clicks or something it links to a video suprise.

I'd say the forum styles are shocking similar in sarcasm content and desire to harass your fellow forum browsers.

That being said, there are certain things that always occur that you have to accept:

1) Don't argue with Devil about hockey unless you say something like: "Brodeur is the bestest(yes just like that) goalie ever, bar none, don't bother arguing."
2) Except Ceekay to hit on you.. at least twice.
3) Ron will pretend to act mad at some point but we all know he's reading it and laughing with the rest of us.
4) I was act high and mighty about something that has almost nothing to do with the topic at hand.
5) Purge will claim innocence when in fact he usually starts it
6) within 2 pages every topic will eventually either hit NSFW or becoming political/religious in nature.
7) any post you read on OO will probably be double posted here within an hour, or vice versa.
a complete and utter lack of forum games.
