Blah, you old geezers and your old timey Battlestar Galactica. <grumble grumble>
Did you hear something, Daggett!? As someone who grew up with the original Battlestar (I also had the toys), I must admit the new one is eons better.

I used to have the toy of that dog robot thing when I was little (Daggett?) However, having never watched the show I had no clue what it was from, just that it was cool in that it was my only four-legged action figure.

I believe I made a bit of a mistake in that earlier post. "Daggett" was supposedly a general term for the creature's breed/make/whatever. I guess his name was actually Muffett. So it was "Muffett the Daggett"...which takes it to even new levels of sheer stupidity. In any case, I always just assumed that "Muffett" was actually Winnie the Pooh after a horrible car accident...

I didn't watch the original BSG but from the looks of the pictures a Daggett/Muffett is a poor attempt at reaching K-9 awesomeness. Can Daggett play chess? I doubt it.

I doubt it. bah, your question loses all significance when the REAL question is asked: Bare knuckle cage match: Twiki or Muffett? (this is presupposing that Twiki ditches dr. theo as he COULD conceivably be used as a weapon during the match) .... ....... ............it's right about now that the majority of GT folks are probably starting to debate the whole "welcome aboard, stay as long as you need" thing.

K-9 is so awesome that when his image is hotlinked it breaks servers. I suspect his awesomeness is the cause of OO's breakdown. He's facing to the left now because I hear that mirroring images helps ease the load.

registered back in aught 4. i remember it well. GG was gone and the cries of gamers were being met with silence. out of the darkness Ron appeared. He brought both a torch to light our way and, for some unknown reason, an autographed picture of a shirtless Brendan Fraser. over the years I drifted over to OO since i was too stupid to remember it was "gamingtrend.com" instead of "gamingtrends.com". yes...i was thwarted by an "s". in my defense, I AM a well known moron.

Images off to recovery. I've gotten a flurry of other work spur up and I need to tend to that, so I just bit the bullet. Had to drop by from my still extremely long work schedule to note the apparent electability of a McCain-Condi ticket. But should McCain and Rice team up, the poll suggests the two Republicans would carry New York, defeating a Clinton-Obama ticket by 3 points (49-46 percent) and an Obama-Clinton ticket by 5 points (49-44 percent.) http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/

Condi Rice strengthens the McCain ticket? This country is becoming more and more bizarre. I seriously need to look into Europe as a potential residence.

I dont understand whats going on with OO...either I missed the info or I saw it , it went over my head, and my mind blocked it out. Anyways wanted to say sorry to Rip if he is having some type of problem other than OO. Hope it turns out well for you and look forward to OO surfacing again soon if possible. GL buddy. I cant cross post and my withdrawl is starting to make me want to crosspost on GT itself.

Any poll this far out is useless Jeff, you should know that. No matter that I respect and admire McCain he'd be a fool to peg Condi as his VP nominee. Of course, it's all moot since Obama is going to be the Democratic nominee and he will clean up McCain in the general. That said, either of them would be fine Presidents - though McCain in 2000 would have been the best possible thing.

Let me guess. OO refugee? Where do I donate to fix OO's servers? Please, for the love of pete, fix OO fast, Rip. So when is OO going to be back up again? Some snippets from other threads (and this one). Probably others, but who's got time to dig... Here's what I propose that may make those who are thinking the same thing as those selected quotes. Move all the OO refugees to a new section in Non-gaming, something named OO Summer Camp. Sure, it will take some time to round all of us up, but once a few start posting threads, we will be easily identified by posting in said section. Once all of us are in there, the forum could be locked and every user in that forum banned. A fina...simple solution to the OO problem. The above message should be taken as sarcasm. Those not familiar with this style of writing please read any recent speach my G.W. Bush. I, the messages author, understand that the holocost is a serious and sad topic, and will accept any and all action resulting from this message.
