I really hope that Rip is not as miserable right now as I suspect he is.
Although I really should rejoice in the 300% traffic spike (meaning 3 or 4 people) it's given my blog.
Actually, there's a part of me that thinks that Rip is enjoying spring break, sipping on an umbrella drink and occasionally checking this thread to cackle and say "DANCE, pathetic junkies, DANCE for me!" I spoke with Rip and he's doing fine. Tired, but fine. I guess the majority of his business is not the hosting part and that's all that's down/ So it's a PitA but he's not losing his life's savings. He's on about 8 hours sleep and said he'd stop by to post the link to his camera so we can watch and be sure he's working. |

He did say he had had 8 hours sleep over the weekend though. I figured he was going to be stopping by to give an ETA. Rip was a bit disappointed that this didn't happen next weekend though as I think he has a nice new servermagig for SloO to live on. It would have been nice to come back with a vengeance.  Edit to say, my meh was not directed at GT. I like SMF a lot. |
