ATB's thread inspired me to create this Christmas tree PICTURE thread (along with... CK's comment was it? "TTIWWP"). So I thought HEY, might as well create a thread for everyone to post a picture of their Xmas tree. Here's ours:  Details: Fairly small tree, fake, and it's black (though it's hard to see its true blackness in the lighting). Our two kitties are on the chair there - Coda and Earl Grey. |

Our tree is never overly impressive, but is always special to us. My family makes it a tradition to trade ornaments every year, so there's stuff on this tree that dates back 33 years. There's stories that go with nearly every one of them, so it's fun to open the ornament box and start decorating.  Santa Mouse (halfway down on the right) is the ornament I got on my first b-day, and has been the first ornament to go on the tree every year. And yes, that is a Star Wars ornament section (Darth Vader even talks!).  The Grinch & Abominable treetoppers were Mrs. Gratch's touch this year. |

Here is ours, it's a four year-old 6 foot tall fake pre-lit beauty from Joann's.  Since I have one, here's a photo of our outside lights too. It snowed Saturday and was all gone by Sunday evening.  |

Ours is still in progress. My girlfriend is Japanese and hence it's her first time with a real (but fake) Christmas tree. I'm not much better. Pics to come later.
