I just finished reading Among the Living. I really enjoyed it, a lot more than I thought I would. So the next logical question is, is there a release date for Among the Dead on Amazon yet?
Awesome. Thanks for checking out my book. The sequel, Among the Dead, will be released in January. The release will coincide with the audio version.

It's finally being released! This will hit late next month in all ebook formats, audio book, and paperback. Sorry it took so long but in my defense I wrote 4 other books between Among the Living and Among the Dead. I have a few gift codes for the audio version of my best selling Among the Living book.. If you'd like one, just leave a reply. I'll pick a couple of winners on the 24th. I know, it's not much of a contest but I'm in a giving mood.

Thanks a bunch Tim! I startedlistening to it during my workout today and it's got a great start to it. Definitely looking forward to getting into the meat of it The narrator also does a great job with the reading.

Well this was a surprise! My publisher is putting the book out early and the paperback just appeared on amazon. The ebook will be appearing on all sites over the next week or so. Not sure when the audio book hits but I think it will be out by the end of the month. Spoiler for Hiden: From Among the Dead:
She fought to steady her hand as she lowered the blade. It almost dipped to the ground, but she refused to drop it. It was hers; she had purchased it, practiced with it, bloodied it, and eventually killed with it. They had a history, Kate and this sword, and no man in a green suit was going to separate her from it.
Another joined him and pointed a gun at her. He spoke, but she had trouble processing the words. Of course she wasn't bitten; of course she wasn't one of them. The words came out in a jumble, slurred and bereft of conviction.
“Have you been bitten?” the other man screamed as he chambered a round. Why do they always do that? she wondered in some vague region of her mind that was still lucid. Why do they always chamber a round to emphasize a question? It was enough to point a gun at someone’s head; you didn't have to be a dick about it.
She tried to reason, to tell him everything was okay, but those words didn't come out. Instead, she said the only thing that she wanted to be remembered for.
“Fuck you, asshole.”
Then a hole opened up, and she swam toward it.

... 3 years later. Among the Dead is out - links to various formats here. I'm not sure when the audiobook will hit itunes and audible but it should be by the end of the month. Nothing quite like getting a box like this from your publisher: Now to finish the final book, Among the Ashes and then take a break from zombies.

Reading Rise of the Governor by Kirkman and Apocalypse Z: The beginning of the end by Loureiro. Reading the first to get back into the.Walking Dead universe and the second as it has the journal approach to storytelling that I liked in Day by day armageddon.
I'm switching back and forth between them, so its a bit like World War Z.
