I wonder if there is something other than the FCC that is making them feel this way. Ever since the firestorm that surrounded Janet Jackson and the Unveiling, media companies are erring on the side of caution. My favorite radio station used to play Warren Zevon's "Lawyers Guns and Money" (complete with the "shit has hit the fan" verse) regularly until January. I've never heard play it since. |

well, they didn't pull it or cut anything out here. i caught the scene with the captured german. "i love america" his "f--- hitler" came through perfectly. was actually surprised that would be allowed during a prime time spot on a major network. especially in this day with the fcc

The FCC can't tell them what they can or can't air; that would be censorship. They can only impose such hefty fines that it's not economically viable to air much of anything.
