Anyone here commute from NJ to NY?
I need to know about how long a commute from Princeton to the city would take, and about how much the monthly cost is.

If you don't mind me piggybacking on your thread, what's the best (cheap&easy) way to get from Penn Station to lower Manhattan? I need to go from Boston to NY just for a day and I'm wondering how feasable Amtrak is as an alternative to driving.

princeton to city = suck no short cheap or easy way to do it daily though there's gotta be some decent ferry solutions???
and yeah boston to NY is easy - check out acela lines too and from penn you can get anywhere underground runs all over + cabs (which really are pretty cheap compared w/ the pain in the ass they save ya for short distances)
