They're playing pretty well now but trying to dig out of a hole they dug by playing like shit for the entirety of the middle of the season. I don't actually think they'd get rid of DL but it's a massive disappointment if they miss the playoffs obviously.

Canucks managed to close it to a point with a good win over the Jets last night. The end to this season is shaping up to be a cliff hanger - with the Blues, Canucks, Wings and Rangers all in the mix there finally won't be a run away winner of the P Cup. Bruins, Pens and Preds are still very much in the race too.

Meh, the Canucks still have 4 Swedes. They were down on their quota so they added Pahlsson at the trade deadline. And despite Salo being a Fin, he's seems happy to masquerade as a Swede.   All of the Canucks offensemen are down on scoring though, so their recent lackluster play is really a team conspiracy.
