I wish they would stop making and selling all PC and Console games. That would great, especially since I love keeping people from enjoying their hobbies.

Didn't mean to offend, godhugh, I just have an ultra-low opinion of MLB. smile

Or they just keep on rolling with the idiocy and mess up next season too.  How sad.  I was really looking forward to this season to pick me up after the 49er's disappointing 2-14 debacle.  Guess I'll sit on my ass until baseball season picks up.

On another note, I'm giving away a copy of Miracle in the Trading Forum's PIFF thread.  Good movie to watch to get away from all the NHL $$$ bickering.

Very sad.  It's hard to believe that nothing could be done in the last 6 months.  I really thought there might be some hope after the NHLPA's offer with a cap last night, guess not.

I caught some of Bettman's press conference this morning but wasn't there also a NHLPA press conference scheduled for later on in the day?  Anyone watch it?  Was it the same as Bettman's only from the other side of things?

How much are the owners really missing out?  Do you think they are all going to file for losses because of this lack of season, or will some low market teams actually not lose money for a change...

Being from Pittsburgh, the Penguins are one of the few teams who lose less money while not operating then they would if a season started.  They desperately need a new arena to be viable.  They have a lot of good young talent in their system to be a good team in a few years and there is a decent fanbase still left in town, if the tickets weren't so darn expensive for old beat up seats.

It stinks - it feels like a huge, gaping void is gone for me this year.  Gone are the days where I used to look daily at hockey standings, news, schedule out games that were going to be televised, etc.  It stinks . . . it just plain stinks.

Wow .. Looks like there's still some life left ..

This would be pretty surprising if they pulled off an agreement.  NY radio sports  stations are reporting sitings of Gretsky and Lemieux in the city.

The season is currently under review as to whether or not the cancellation will be allowed.

lol,  Don't know why, but it's a habit, even when I know there's a Z somewhere.

No points for getting Lemieux right?
