Left is my '90's Starfire 4, right is my limited edition Starfire 6. Yes, it looks too much like a Gibson, but it truly kicks ass! Cost a bit, but you only turn 50 once. icon_wink

Congrats on the new guitar, and for hitting 50.   I've been seriously thinking of buying a cheap guitar to learn to play....figured I'd test the water without a ton of investment.  Suggestions?
