Any good games this weekend? My Pats are playing the Dolphins, which means I'll want to watch a real football game at some point. The only semi-big game I know of is the Packers vs Titans on Monday. It seems that the two teams are already in must win positions so early in the season.
Can the Titans or Green Bay go to 1-4 and still make the postseason? I know the Titans did it a few years ago, but there division is much better now, as well as the AFC as a whole. NE, Indy, and Denver seem to be headed off to win the divisions. Then you have the Jets, Jags, Baltimore, Pitt all in contention. I have a hard time believing that any 1-4 team can make a run.

Man, I sure hope the Titan's can get a win on Monday night. I think it would be a crazy hard task to make it to the playoff's starting off 1-4. McNair is starting and Chris Brown is still hot so I think they'll do it

Detroit Lions will beat Atlanta. bet on it!

If the Dolphins score 3 points it will be an upset. Yeah, I can't see the Dolphins scoring, or winning. It could be a trap game for NE. Something stupid could happen like a Brady pick for a TD return. The teams usually play close. Miami is just sooo bad this year though. I like watching the Titans, and wish they'd beat Indy for the division lead, but that looks doubtful. When will Indy lose again? They shouldn't have lost week 1. Tough task for the Titans though.

I'm interested in the Rams vs Seahawks. Will Martz go back to the air? Will Seattle fold? Will latte's be served during halftime?

I predict the RAMS will win against Seatle. The Rams are in desperate mode and that usually equals a win in the NFL. I think the Chargers will upset the Jags too.
There are your tips for the weekend.

Dallas vs Giants. I doubt it will be a "good" game. But it may prove interesting. The Giants have been better than I expected. I'm not a big fan of Coughlin, but hey if he wins, then what I think doesn't matter much.

Skins v. Ravens
Could be an absolutely brutal game to watch.
Skins are #3 total defense, #1 against the run, giving up 2.5 yards per carry.
Ravens defense is actually 21st in the league, but we all know they play defense well.
Skins are having serious problems on offense. Ravens can't throw the ball. They can RUN the ball, but the Skins are killing the run game.
3-0 game.

I think the Titans are done. They have major salary cap problems that are going to impair their ability to fill in gaps during the season.
Take the Jags for instance, who just lost their best O-lineman for the rest of the year. They go out and get a veteran LT in Bob Whitfield. I'm not sure the Titans could have done that.
I'm hoping for Jags over Chargers, though I think it will be a tougher game than people around here give the Chargers credit for. Both teams are much improved over last year.

Randy is gonna tear up the Texan's secondary, won't be pretty if your a Houston fan. You may wanna look away
But Andre Johnson has about a 7" edge on the Vike's best DB, Antoine Winfield, so that could be interseting as well.
We will also see what kind of depth MN has in the offensive backfield. The ever-fragile Michael Bennett is hurt yet again. Onterrio likes the weed so he gets 4 weeks off. Wily veteran and dependable Moe Williams is banged up. So it's up to 2 rookies. Mewelde Moore is a good looking back out of Tulane, he will be fine I think, and a guy named Larry Ned behind him. Should be intersting.
One other thing. Doncha just hate when you have a player on your FF team playing against your favorite NFL team?!?! I'm so torn, "Tackle him! No RUN! No tackle him! No RUN!" I'm like a schitzo. I hope Andre has 200 yds and 3 TDs, but the Vikes win.
