As the season rolls on, I continue to monitor the NFL transactions wire in search of:

Oakland Raiders  -  Michael Vick  (QB) signed (four-year contract)

When I think Jets v. Pats, I think Favre vs. Cassell

The Denver Broncos have four Running Backs on IR this year with a fifth one that has an ongoing groin injury. Now they have signed Tatum Bell back to the team. The only thing this guy hasn't fumbled is Rudi Johnson's Gucci bags.

I don't get it. All the talk about the Jets overcoming some demons or finally getting a big win against the Patriots?

Good for them, they managed to win a game in OT that they led 24-6 but really, how monumental was it?

Jets are in first place for one game in a year that I see as a throwaway season.

No Brady
No Maroney (not a big fan, but he is the starting RB)
No Jordan
No Harrison
No Thomas
No Warren
No Neal

Those are all pretty big parts of the team.

Mayo looked good.

Oh well. Favre is relevant again. The NFL is happy.

I am, but it has nothing to do with the Patriots.

I'm sick of the storyline and love affair the media has with certain people and teams on the NFL. I've said it many times.

If the Bills or Dolphins won there would be little hype.

Titans are undefeated, Cards and Falcons are in first place and the story of the year is Favre and NY.

Typical.

I guess.

I listen to mostly national sports instead of the local clowns and I'm hearing that this is a sort of changing of the guard.

Huh?

It's that kinda analysis that I don't understand.

If my team was playing the Colts and Manning, Adai, Freeney and Wayne were out, I don't think I'd see it as anything more than taking advantage of the situation. Not some sort of statement that the Colts are done and we're actually better than them.

That's all I was saying.

It's always been about Favre.  The media loves the guy and always has.

Not even halftime and Lovie Smith demonstrates why he needs to be fired RIGHT NOW.  Congrats - you're a head coach in the NFL and you have no freaking clue when to circle the wagons and when to gamble.

Wow.  The Eagles suck.

Pete, I feel for you.  I'm pretty sure another (soon to be) last place finish in the NFC East will get Andy Reid fired.

Even money says they might have a winning record and manage to finish last.

Even money says the winner of the AFC West has a losing record.

Thank you Niners for making me forget for just a moment about how bad you really are
Thank you Ref for not calling Pass Interference against Nate Clements, you still owe us a few

1-0
2-0
3-0
4-0
4-1
5-1
5-2
5-3
5-4
5-5

I guess if they win out they could still make the playoffs...but here's what will happen: they'll right the ship, be in the wild card hunt up until the last week, then lose a must win game against the pats to close the season.

It's all one awful crappy tease.

I wish the team would move so I could sever all ties  crybaby crybaby crybaby crybaby crybaby crybaby

If that happens, I'm done with them.  I'll go root for the Colts.  Yes, I'm aware of the irony.
