Cowboys trolled me again.
That was a painful game for Raven's fans to watch... TRUST ME.. Sports bar I was at were on pins and needles. Ravens might have won the game, but lost Ray Lewis (torn tricep) and Ladarius Webb (ACL) I expect the Ravens will lose badly against the Texans

Not if the Texans play like they did against Green Bay. Jesus, that was a shitty game (for Texans fans).

Yes. Yes it was.
I'm honestly hoping that the Texans feel embarrassed and pissed off....and take it out on the Ravens.

Niners lost their mojo
they did? Pretty much the same style as last year... Low yardage passing, good defense, good rushing, and finally some good special teams

ESPN2's First Take (?) was on while I was at the gym this morning and along the bottom of the screen they had tweets from the public about various football games yesterday. During their discussion of the Cowboys/Giants game, one tweet making fun of the Cowboys was from "TheRealPeteRock".

Highlight of the game for me was Doucet getting absolutely blown up by Goldson coming at him like a heat seeking missile. Awesome highlight reel hit.

Sorry East Coasters you couldn't view the mighty defense of the 49ers. Man Goldson is brutal. Defense only allowed 7 yards rushing. Yes that's right, 7 yards rushing
You also missed Alex Smith passing with only 1 incompletion breaking an NFL record for the most throws with 1 incompletion.
Niners are now up by 2 games, and has a bye next week. Hopefully this provides rest to Gore who is looking slower each game he plays

Ware just knocked Matt Ryan into next week. Cowboys came to play. They also came to make FG attempts, but a lead is a lead.

Niners-Rams this weekend. If the Niners do what New England did on offense (ie - send the outside WRs on fly and post routes while running the TE and RBs on short underneath routes (talking 5 yards or less), it will negate the Rams pass rush and the Rams weak outside LB coverage and the Niners will dominate the Rams. If the Niners attempt the conventional - run, pass deep, pass for first down type offense - it will be a close game. What New England did was attack the Rams obvious defensive weakness (OLB and S coverage), which was plainly evident in preseason play, yet no one prior consistently attacked those areas prior to that game in London. With recent film and the Niners having an excellent TE along with what should be a healthy Frank Gore, it will likely be a long day for the Rams. However, if the Niners do not pay attention to film and attempt to play however they want, instead of attacking the Rams clear weaknesses, the Rams defense can keep a game close and give the Rams offense the opportunity to win. The one area Bradford has consistently played well this season is late in games when one score can tie or win the game. Niners need to build that early lead and not let the Rams stay in the game at all.
Will be interesting to watch for at least two quarters, but if the Niners use game film and attack what the Patriots exposed, this game will be over by half-time. However, if Alex Smith chokes or the Niners fail to attack those weaknesses, this will go down to a 4th quarter game which the Rams have proved capable of winning if within one score late in the game.

Well you were partly right man what a disappointing game. This is the game the niners should have steamrolled over (like the Bills/Jets game) instead they lay a turd. Couple that with some very bad officiating, like letting the clock run down 1:12 minutes while measuring for the 1st down is beyond excusable. I thought Kapernick's TD should have been reversed, his foot was out of bounds, and I also thought the call against Ray MacDonald for illegal hit to the head was a stretch. At least it was a tie. Niners better get their act together against the Bears next Monday. It's going to be tough.

I'm not looking forward to the next couple of weeks as a steelers fan. Ben has an "unusual" shoulder injury and could be out a couple of weeks. It couldn't have happened at a better time on the schedule either. Next three games are Ravens, Browns, Ravens.

Langford is in the process of hitting the QB - as he has already taken his last step and lowered his shoulder to nail the QB in the chest. The QB ducks into Langford's shoulder causing a shoulder to the head hit. Result - personal foul for hitting the QB in the head. Yes, those are crap calls.
