What I would love to see is Tebow to the Patriots and then a season-ending Brady injury in the first minute of the first game of the season.

I would cry.

I want Tebow here because I think it would be funny having him on the Pats and hope he never really plays.

If he's going to play, I want him on the Jets.

That being said, they won 10 games without Brady before so who knows.

That's the thing. They might still win.

The Jets would be ideal. TWO terrible QBs!!!

obviously having just one qb with a completion percentage that seems like it hovers around 50% isnt enough to prove youre a defensive team... you need at least 2

ESPN

Quote
general manager Mickey Loomis was suspended for eight regular-season games, the team was fined $500,000 and lost two second-round draft picks (one in 2012 and '13) as a result of a bounty program conducted by the team during the 2009-11 seasons.

No Payton and maybe no Brees makes for a sad Saints season for me.  Good thing Manning is coming to Denver to distract me.

If the NFL comes to you and says to knock an illegal bounty system off, and you don't do it? Prepare for the wrath of Goodell.

I generally don't agree with Ray Ratto very much (actually I sort of hate him), but I'll agree JUST THIS ONE TIME:

Dammit!!! Tebow on the Jags!!

This does nothing for me!!

The Jets even screw up the process of screwing up!!

At least Sanchez will have the benefit of knowing the organization is still behind him...no, wait, they are in negotiations with Jeff George.

Edit: OK he's going to the Jets...I feel better!

icon_lol That was awesome.  Like most Niners fans, I was really hoping the they would land Peyton...but mainly just so Alex could get the hell out of there.

There's a Tebow press conference going on right now to introduce him.  It will be interesting to follow this story over the course of the season.  I expect that the Jets circus will be double the usual!!

All turnovers are subject to review now, like all scoring plays were last season.  No coaches challenge required.

Good - I want coaches challenges to be removed.

Take the officiating away from the coaches!!

Replay everything. Get it right. Do it fast.

Great.  So much for what limited protection our offensive line provides.  Jason Peters out for season with ruptured achilles

Not that Vick ever stayed in the pocket, anyway.  Now he won't even have a choice.

Now back to your regularly scheduled Niners programming.

There just isn't much to talk about in Philadelphia outside of baseball right now.  Plus, the "49ers 2011 Offseason Discussion" thread doesn't always hold much interest for me.   icon_wink

Continuing disappointment in my "beloved" franchise has discouraged much participation in NFL discussions.  What can I really say other than "goddamnit" over and over again?  I just avoid that altogether by drinking beer any time I'm about to open my mouth.
