Look at this possible cast so far.

Perhaps III (other than the great ending) will be relegated to the dust bin of the series as it should be.

while i think it's really cool that they'll have christian bale to play john connor, the fact that McG is directing really knocks down my hopes for a decent movie.  i just can't imagine someone who brought us the epic suck of Charlie's Angels doing a decent job with a Terminator film...

Of the bit of "We Are Marshall" that I saw, it showed that McG at least had the ability to reign it in when he needed too.

IF he did the first CA, then kudos as that was a fun movie.  Not appropriate for this subject matter, but still.

I don't believe in a director whose name is only 3 letters long.

Actually a Terminator film might not be so bad without Arnold.  I'd like them to focus a little more on the actual war itself-enough of the 'bad guy comes back through time to kill someone' plot.  That might actually be accomplishable without the big guy.

He should be relegated to cameos as the T-100 comes online.

McG a bad director?!?! Just because Charlie's Angels is a bad franchise, doesn't mean McG is a bad director. It could've been the writing, or the fact that the lead actresses in that role can't act?

I present you, the academy, for your consideration: The pilot of Chuck (for NBC)

Just because someone has a dumb name (McG, DragonFyre, ATB (srsly, what is that? You enjoy ATVs so much and your first name is Bob so you're All Terrain Bob?)) doesn't mean they're dumb.

I'm optimistic for the new Terminator film. Although, I actually did like Terminator 3. (Which goes against my usual hatred of eye candy films with no substance - it was a pretty good action movie. Nowhere near as good as T1 or T2, but passable.)

It may not suck.  They have a pretty decent amount of lore to draw on, yet a blank slate when it comes to the war itself.  If done in the style of "Aliens" - a Sci-Fi war movie - it could be damn good.

Based on his other work:  http://imdb.com/name/nm0629334/ , I'd say Chuck was an accident?

Supernatural is quite good (or at least the first half of the first season- I really need to catch up one of these days).
