yeah you got 5 seasons didn't you(not included the straight to DVD films)...we got 4 seasons,but still the same number of episodes

we had 13 episodes in season 1 while you had 9,the first 4 of your season 2 is our third disc of season 1(so season 1 ends with the brilliant Fry and the Slurm Factory)...don't ask me why its like that,we still have all the same number of episodes as you guys

I liked the 1st one.

The 2nd one though left me kind of.....huh? I mean Zap is usually always funny. That episode just left me feeling weird i guess. Since they spent all that time building up and then oh hey

Things are not what they seem, then the truth is revealed via exposition in the third act.  Both reminded me of "The Sting" episode in that respect.

It also seems that DiMaggio has tweaked Bender's voice somewhat; I noticed it with the DVD movies, but it seems even more pronounced now.  Not a big deal, it's just a little odd.

If you're a fan of DiMaggio/Futurama, check out 'Adventure Time' on cartoon network. A bit more juvenile than futurama, but my wife and I both find it really funny and amusing.

I just watched this week's episode and I thought it was really good.

just watched the first 5 episodes(last one was the Devinci one)..i am quite enjoying it,as its now on CC some of the jokes are a little more daring(Amy in full Bondage gear)..and i have been laughing quite a bit

some of the jokes don't seem to work as they should,not really sure what happened at the end of that episode where Bender and Amy got together....it just seemed to end all of a sudden throwing everything in all at once

That's probably my biggest gripe with the new season... lots of random wackiness for the first 20 minutes, just to hurriedly wrap things in the end in a largely unsatisfactory manner.  There's no sense of an overarching storyline like there was with the original run.

just watched Episode 7 and its been pretty much the best episode of the season

always late for dates with Leela,Fry promises that he wont be late for her Birthday dinner,however instead The Professor demands Fry tests his forwards only time machine with himself and Bender to go 1 minute into the future but the Professor slips on the lever and they end up in the year 10,000..with no way to go back,they can only go forward

the many different futures was good fun...Bender wanted to stay in the Terminator future


i loved the song that was sung to the tune of 'in the Year 2525'


last weeks episode was pretty good as well(Bender finds out he has no Back up unit so goes on a bloody rampage of revenge to Mexico with Hermes)

Yeah, the fry late for dinner seemed like classic Futurama at its best.
I also liked the Bender/Hermes adventure a lot.

Leela & Zap ep...eh.
Amy & Bender ep...eh.
The DaVinci thing was just weird.
The one with the eye-phones was ok.

Odd, I've been absolutely loving this season.  The iPhone one I enjoyed for the satire, but the baby Bender/origin story and time travel eps I thought were absolutely brilliant from top to bottom.

I liked the cuteness fights tonight . I think the episodes feel a bit shorter in the new season (whether they are or not I'm not sure). And it seems to be a bit unstable as to whether Fry and Leela are together... but otherwise I'm still enjoying it.

That episode was awesome.  I've enjoyed the new ones, but that was my favorite.

Me too; that was the first one that felt like the Futurama of old.

I didn't much care for last night's episode.  Too much reliance on the cute aspect made it kind of nauseating.  It was made especially apparent when the companion rerun they were running was the one about Fry's dog, which is one of their best ever.

The time travel one was great, though.  I'm enjoying the new season for the most part.

I didn't much care for last night's episode. 

I still had fun with it but it was probably my least favorite of the new series so far. I'm trying real hard to let the show stand on its own merits and not compare it to some of the great eps from the original - like the farnsworth parabox, or The Problem with Popplers; I don't think they've hit the same rhythm that they used to have. 

I've noticed that this season they're trying much harder to give the B cast more to do. Not that it's a bad thing, but an episode focused on Amy and Nibbler - two of the least developed characters on the show? No thanks. I would have preferred if they had focused on Scruffy.

Scruffy is awesome because of his lack of involvement. But (like Ferb) when he does say something it's usually important and/or hysterical. I don't think an episode with a major emphasis on Scruffy would work, much in the same way that episodes that feature Zoidberg don't work that well (despite the fact I love the character). Some characters (Zoidberg, Amy, etc.) really need to stay in the background.

Yeah, Zoidberg is funnier when he bursts in, does something stupid and/or pathetic, and leaves, like him in the cat cage.

However, I loled at several moments of this past episode. I'm really enjoying the latest Futuramas, for some reason.
