Well, it sure looks like steven seagal but I don't know how to tell one movie from the other.
By how big his gut is.

Here's 2 of the supporting actors in this opus of Steven Seagal.

I'm sure this barely helps, but it was made in the last 10 years, and it went direct to video in the US. That should narrow it down from several thousand to several hundred movies.

mentioning "direct to video" when discussing steven seagal movies is like telling you that an M night movie may have a twist at the end. i think he's done as many of those as actual theater releases.

Surprisingly, it's neither. Last clue before I reveal it. I keep cracking myself up with throwaway jokes to narrow it down, like the following: He's an ex-CIA agent. He plays a Buddhist. He's too out of shape to actually perform his stunts without wires.

Keeping with the Seagal theme, here's another movie from the era close to where his movies were popular.

How the hell did you guess that? Yes. Excellent movie, BTW. Holds up very well. Also, it has the credit: "Introducing Madeline Kahn" (that's her in the frumpy housedress in the back).

LOL..not really sure actually, all i went off was the guy near the TV was wearing glasses(i knew the lead wore glasses in that film) and it had a 60s/70s look,so took a guess i don't think this one should take too long(i love the actress)

Correct, well, that saves me looking for another pic it's a shame she died, she has to be in my top actresses,i love lots of stuff she is in(Clue for one,Sherlock Holmes smarter younger brother for another) i was listening to the Audio Commentary for Young Frankenstein when i first got it on DVD and you just heard Mel Brooks at the opening credits, pretty much ticking off everyone who had died,it was quite sad...i didn't even know she was dead until that audio commentary your turn,Map

I put it in just for you.
Anyone who hasn't seen Two for the Road should do so. The way they tell a non-linear story is phenomenal. Also, the actors play the same parts over three different time periods (IIRC) and are believable in each one. Make up and wardrobe are a key part of that (and it's amazing that we still can't do it as well today), but the performances really bring it home.
