I didn't think that movie had been released yet (well, only if I'm right)... and if that is Eric Marlon Bishop (aka Jamie Foxx)...

The Soloist, ftw - I'm pretty certain anyway, lol!

Lol, I knew the scene, saw most of the movie - but couldn't come up with the title, or even enough to Google it.  Somehow I thought that wasn't Jeremy Irons, I guess I figured he'd be way older by the time this movie was made.  I enjoyed it at least - fun flick, despite the reviews!  nod

Btw, I had a dog named Brom (Jeremy Irons' character) - but he was named after Brom Bones of Sleepy Hollow fame.   icon_razz

Okay, I'll grab that gauntlet!

I picked this at random from a movie photos site.  Though I've heard of it, I've never seen the film, but the more I read about it, the more I want to see it:

I guess that's what you get when you point and click completely at random (not Blood Diamond, btw!)  I've heard of the film, but I thought it was a made-for-TV or a PBS documentary, not an actual movie.  Think stories you've seen on 60 Minutes (or BBC news)...

Here's one more:

I suspect that this film may need Google hints, not just pictures - though I'm a little surprised that one of our quite erudite and politically knowledgeable group here has never seen it.   icon_eek

I'm going to be offline for awhile, fairly soon, and for fairly long... so if you need a Google hint, here it is:

Spoiler for Hiden:
the first name of the person shown in that last pic, is Santino - and no, I have never heard of him, though I'm familiar with the history that the film represents.

I'll be back on tomorrow (Friday) at some point - feel free to Talk Amongst Yourselves... or you know, carry on without me!

hmm...nope.although something felt familiar when you said his name was Santino(and no it wasn't James Cann icon_wink)..

cheating and looking on IMDB,for people called Santino who played 'Self'...i can come up with Lost Boys of Sudan or A great Wonder:Lost Children of Sudan..i haven't heard of any of them

as for characters called Santino(although i am presuming he isn't a character)..i can come up with Who Framed Roger Rabbit,LOL..that has a Lt.Santino...Godfather part 1..as said above,it was james Caan's character(Sonny),Lucky Chances which is a film based on a Jackie Collins book and a WWF/wrestlemania movie..and i can't see it being any of them

this one i think certainly has passed me  icon_lol

really?...hmm,no i definitely haven't heard of it,perhaps its more known on your side of the pond,or maybe it IS just one that has slipped me by

i wasn't really expecting to 'guess'(and by guess i mean blackheartedly cheat) it correctly

this will be very easy if you have seen it(hmm, actually i may of done it before,or someone has done it before, can't remember)...its a great flick, only seen it once though, and that was before i bought it on DVD

it was rumoured that the Love scene in the film between the Two leads was real.....the male lead has since said its BS

The Male lead wore a curly wig throughout the shoot of the film

here in the UK it was a double feature at the cinemas coupled with the original 'The Wicker man'
