Well, They Live is a classic B-movie from '88 by John Carpenter. It has 'Rowdy' Roddey Piper as a guy who sees things as they really are when he puts on these special sunglasses (like in that B&W shot), so he goes around blasting the alien overlords disguised as people with a shotgun. It's stupid fun. But I agree that a lot of these seem just old or obscure for the sake of it. |
