Help me out here folks, I'm trying to place a miniseries that I foggily remember from a long, long time ago. Somewhere between the mid 70s and mid 80s. At one point, these two grubby guys are digging up diamonds. And it was a long miniseries and it was good.
So, diamonds, long, and good is what we have to go on. [/u]

Wait a second, BOTH of those have guys finding/digging up diamonds? Argh. If it helps, I think these guys find diamonds maybe on an island when what they actually would hope to find is food? Hawaii came out in 1966, and I'm pretty sure that this miniseries is newer than that.
