someone launched a missile 35 miles out to sea north of Catalina Island, and the kicker? Senior Pentagon and Navy officials told NBC News that they did not know who launched the missile. it'll be interesting to find out who is behind this.

Ok, so where was it launched? US doesn't have train based missiles. The closest silos are at Vandenberg AFB and their launches aren't secret. You don't just drive up and launch a missile that big. Also having seen a half dozen missile launches in person, closer than any civilian could ever be, you only see the thing for a minute at best. That thing was way too slow to a missile. |
