Y'know, displaying a Japanese battle flag is akin to displaying a Nazi Swastika.

I'm not sure why you're complaining then.
Because I'm not Japanese?

actually then should have been 'here'.  typo on my part.

One of my favourite pastimes when I go into Tokyo is just to wait at the train gates and watch them pour off the trains and walk by. They should be selling tickets to be able to see something like that.  And don't even get me started about the high school girls.

And this is where the thread turned from sort of funny to definitely creepy.

Hah that is AWESOME!! In a country full of strange people doing strange things that tops it all.  Even the Japanese people are staring at her! That's no easy feat.  My roommate road down the street in broad daylight in a pikachu suit and not a single person gave him a second glance.

If I ever decided to end my 7-year hiatus from women it would only be with a Japanese girl.  They are the sweetest, most beautiful & kind women in the world.  I wouldn't touch an American woman with a 10 foot cattle prod no matter how hot or willing they are.

American woman, stay away from me
American woman, mama let me be
Donít come hanginí around my door
I donít wanna see your face no more
I got more important things to do
Than spend my time growiní old with you
Now woman, I said stay away,
American woman, listen what I say.

BTW... WTF!!!  I did a search for "American Woman Lyrics", and the top three hits were "Lenny Kravitz".  Ummm... WUH?!?!?

Wow. You need to get out more. There are bitchy Japanese women out there, just as there are with any culture. Don't mistake the cultural pressures which force Japanese to be polite with actual kindness and sweetness.

The moms are great too.  Unlike back home (in my experience anyways) even if a Japanese mom is out pushing her kid around in a baby buggy, she is totally DONE UP!  None of this, 'Oh I have a baby kid so I'm going to use that as excuse to look like a slob'.

I can't help but think about the downside of this:

Guy: Come on honey we're going to be late for the game!
Gal: Hold on, I still need to put on my makeup and choose my clothes
Guy: It's just a baseball game! You don't need to put on makeup!
Gal: ..........(continues with her routine)

Yes this is very true.  Sometimes that bothers me about my girlfriend.  I never mention it though.  I value my life.  On the other hand I enjoy the benefits of being able to gaze at all the other 7 million women who also took time to put on their makeup
