I was going to go with the "It looks like you guys are gonna be out of a job" from the directors cut at the end, when the ship captain (above sea) is talking to the op commander. I couldn't think of what came before it and the quote by itself is WAY to obscure to stand alone.

I try to go for enjoyable rather than difficult. I'm not trying to stump people, just make 'em remember cool scenes from some of my favorite movies.

It's from a very famous movie that I would guess most of america has seen - in fact my wife insists that we watch it once a year.

Must be a seasonal movie if you expect us to watch it yearly. I doubt it's Christmas vacation or Scrooged (I'd remember a line like that). The only other two I can think of would be Miracle on 34th st or it's a wonderful life.

(I've only seen Miracle once, doubt it's in there, and never watched a wonderful life, but it's on a goddamned lot in december. I keep seeing advertising for them eating at a chinese resteraunt or something. )

The quote is from "It's a wonderful life" and it's actually a really great movie you should check out one year. It's an old black and white film with James Stewart and Donna Reed.

However I think it's not the one your're thinking of - the movie with them eating at a chinese restaurant is probably "A Christmas Story".  That's also a classic.
