Not much to go by, but you guys are pretty good, so...

There is a scene where this guy stands outside this girls' bedroom and he is holding a boombox up in his hands.  She is in her room listening, but doesn't come to the window.  I think they are high school kids.  She is really smart, and he is a regular type guy.  That's all I got.

I need the movie, the actor, and the song playing on the boombox.

Gracias, amigos.

Dude, easy one.

Say Anything, John Cusack, and "In Your Eyes" by Peter Gabriel.  Next?

To minimize my contribution here, it's basically the iconic scene from the iconic movie romance of the late 80s, and is prominently featured on the box art. slywink

I see.  So you're saying I should feel more dumb than I thought I should feel?

What you need to do is find a girl who looks just like her, nail her, and then dump her, man.

Is this also the movie where he tells the guys they are giving advice even though they hang out at the sippy-mart or something like that?

If that scene exists somewhere, I would love a link to that!  (If this is the same movie).

No problem, Mr. Lockdown.

My fave quote:  "I don't want to sell anything, buy anything, or process anything as a career. I don't want to sell anything bought or processed, or buy anything sold or processed, or process anything sold, bought, or processed, or repair anything sold, bought, or processed. You know, as a career, I don't want to do that."

same here, although i may have seen it and blanked it out.

this was also used in a south park scene, but he used a much better song (for comedic purposes)

not to poke the bear in the eye with a stick, but this is akin to asking "hey, what's that movie where the bad guy smashes someone's head in with a baseball bat at the table?"

that was an awesome scene.  I can't believe Will Smith pulled off playing Al Einstein so well and with such villainy.
