A friend of mine bought this show on DVD and we are really enjoying it.  I never watched it when it was on television, but I am glad I am seeing it now.  I watched the X-Files for a few years, but the scheduling Fox did with this show just didn't line up with my schedule.  It is very much like many of the detective/crime shows on television now (although admittedly a little darker).  I was expecting more X-Files, which thankfully this show is definately not delivering on.  I actually think my mom would like it, as she is a big fan of those sick and twisted murder mystery books and shows.  So far, six episodes in, it is a good crime thriller with some neat criminals.  For the most part it is pretty believable, which is what I like about it.  I don't know why it failed, but I am really enjoying the fine DVD release.  Commercial-free and anamorphic widescreen.  Hurrah!

It, like a lot of those shows, just got a little too goofy and killed off the fanbase enough to have it dropped, but the show was really frickign good for a while.

If you are reading this, you have gone too far.
