One of the best rants I've seen in a while. From reading the comments, it appears as though he's spoofing Christian Bale's recent on-set tirade, and man Cera is funny. Great job.

After hearing Bale's explosion, I was really let down, being a big fan of his, but he's now made a public apology and he says "I was out of order beyond belief, I was way out of order. I acted like a punk. I regret that."

Bale apologizes profusely.

Michael Cera is hilarious.

Also, I don't think Bale's freakout was all that bad. The DP was messing around with lights during a scene, which would make anyone mad. He just went more overboard than most people would.

Yeah, I can see the DP messing around with the lights beforehand, but once the scene is on, you get off the set.  I know this, and I don't even work in Hollywood.

it's kind of hard to follow, but yeah, it definitely seems like a spoof of old bat-mang

I can't wait for Youth in Revolt. It's the funniest book I've ever read.

I thought that Bale's explanation was interesting. He claimed he was half in character when he snapped, and knowing his unbelievable level of dedication (see The Machinist to see how far he will go) I can believe it. No excuse though, he was completely overboard, bordering on a meltdown. He claimed he's not an arrogant guy and I hope not, but he sure sounded that way in the rant.

It was interesting too to hear him explain that he's not accustomed (or apparently comfortable with) being a 'movie star'.

I thought it was interesting how his accent would switch back and forth, so perhaps there's some truth to that.

I don't have the link handy but Tracy Jordan did a spoof audio that had me chuckling. Yelling at someone for pointing a camera at him while he was acting.

I'm still annoyed at Cera for holding out on the proposed Arrested Development movie when everyone else has signed on.

Bale is a punk. He seems to have a history of having a nasty bark. The last couple of negative reports about him have tainted my appeal of his acting. He just needs to do this to a dude that will call him out and kick his ass for him and that will be the end of his verbal assualts. Then we can get back to making good movies.

Multiple similar reports from a week ago where Cera was still the only hold-out.
