I'm down with that picture - To Xmas disasters smile

Already in th past 24 hrs I've:

1.) Seen a fight in a local Target (some lady bumped into a man with her cart and then they got into an F Bomb war)

2.) dropped the Key lime pie in the oven (goo and graham crakcer everywhere in a hot oven)

3.) Had my Wife get my brother angry after telling him (rightfully I may add) to quit poking and prodding at our two year old

My Mother-in-law will be coming today (with the sister-in-law and boyfirend) and I can only guess one of them will cause some sort of trouble. Did I mention that the mother in law might spend the night?

The good news is that I have copious amounts of alcohol to combat this situation. It isn't much but it is all I've got. Desperate men and all that smile

Oh, yeah, Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to everyone as well from all of us. smile

My wife and I are skipping the Christmas gift thing this year, her gift from her boss was the opportunity to find another job. :/  Oh well, my mom is here and we are having a big dinner as a family, that is worth it for me.

Ho Ho Ho!

Hope everybody has a safe Christmas!

I was going to add "enjoyable" but it seems we are already too late for that.  Well, I'm going to try my best and go back to my usual gruff self tomorrow.  Today I am jolly!

Merry Christmas boys and girls!

My haul this year was fairly small, but it's all good - I had more fun getting/making gifts for everyone else.

I got America from a B Dalton that's shutting down for $15.  It's actually by the host of the Daily Show, Jon Stewart. smile  And it's funny as hell.

damn kevin, that is a haul.  the only game i got was the joint ops expansion.  i did get a george forman grill/rotisserie and that looks cool though.

my wife got me the chronicles of riddick dvd (directors cut too) after seeing the icon for the game on the desktop.

sorry to hear that about your wife ron.  i hope she has good luck and gets a better job than the one she had.  any manager who fires someone just before christmas deserves a kick in the ass, preferably by someone with cleats on.

I know it's by the host... I meant I got another book from one of his interviewees on the show.  I'm more convinced with every year that Jon Stewart is one of the great interviewers of this generation... his talents are wasted on pimping bad movies and TV shows.

And for an after-Christmas present...my brakes locked back up.  Replaced a bad caliper on the left side 5 days ago....joy.

my "main" christmas is going to be a week late. So far I've goteen a $10 gift certificate to the company espresso stand from my boss and a bottle of sweet and sour sauce from a friend. Yes, sweet and sour sauce. Now, don't get me wrong, it's really really good sweet & sour sauce, but still... Tongue

My cool gift I've gotten so far is the War of the Ring boardgame  biggrin

Scored a big clothes haul, myself. I've got a sweet new jacket, a bunch of new shirts and pants (all of which were majorly needed), and the wife picked up another couple of clothes options yesterday at the post-Christmas sales. She wonders why I never shop for clothes myself, and all I have to do is point to Christmas for my answer. biggrin

Game-wise I only got GTA: San Andreas, which is majorly fun thus far, but I played so many other games this year courtesy of working for the site that I'd already played everything but that. Hence, my "Games to Get Me" list was only three of four long. I did, however, score a couple of cool DVDs: The Shawshank Redemption 10th Anniversary, The Magnificent Seven, Collateral, and Miracle (though my mom got me the full screen so I'll have to exchange it for widescreen slywink). And my dad got my brother and I two remote control race cars. The street in front of their house is shut down due to construction, so we took them out there and were sending them all over the street. Majorly fun. biggrin
