No, I didn't spend the whole day drinking myself into a blur. Rather, I've had blurry vision all day and it finally seems to have cleared up. This morning I was applying deoderant, I use a stick, and I was looking at the stick while I was applying because I noticed it was getting low. Somehow a tiny chunk or spatter flew into my right eye and almost immediately blurred my vision slightly, the strange thing is that it didn't sting much. I rinsed my eye a little before leaving the house and figured it would clear up. Nope, the whole day I had slightly blurry vision and a gnawing headache from reading blurry text on my monitor.

I finally decided to rinse my eye out some more and took a two hour nap, just woke up and everything is finally back to normal. What an annoying day it's been, all because I got deoderant in my eye!  icon_neutral

So if you have a smelly eyeball, what would be the appropriate solution?

You probably should have gone to the doctor for that in all honesty or at least spent more time rinsing out the eye.  Even a tiny amount of something can mess up the Ph levels in your eye and cause damage if not treated.  I think you got lucky, but only time will tell.

Eh, I've never been a "run to the doctor" type of person. After the second rinsing and the nap everything is back to normal.

After seeing their latest commercial I have concluded you must use Old Spice.
