Looks like as Lulz's last hurrah they apparently released 50,000 usernames, email addresses, and encrypted passwords of "various video game forum users", among other data including AT&T internal LTE docs and 500K user/pass's for Battlefield Heroes players.

Can't seem to find a ready-made list of the Gaming forums that were hit....

I just went to Battlefield Heroes' website and they've taken it offline to investigate the security breach.

I found *potentially* my username in the Battlefield Heroes list... but I've got now way of knowing if that really was my BH username.  Is there a way to see the list with the passwords  without torrenting?  I don't have any of that stuff set up, and I don't really want to...

Now what was the point of breaching a bunch of gaming websites?  We aren't fighting wars in other countries, we aren't causing trouble for anyone, and there is no point in hacking websites other than to simply mine for passwords.   Anon seems to have a purpose for their stuff, Lulz just seems to do it for kicks.

I think because when people requested some of the gaming sites get DDOSed they whined the most. Therefore they spent a bit more time hacking gamers forums because of that.

That's my guess anyway.

Care to put an NSFW tag on this link? When I went to download the list to look for my name, it produced a "hornymatches.com" popup.

Anonymous declares war on Orlando

Quote
Food Not Bombs, an organization that has been sharing vegan and vegetarian meals with the homeless in Orlando, Florida, has gained support from Anonymous after members were arrested for city ordinance violations. For their part, Anonymous has said that the city’s actions are a clear declaration of war.

Really? War? And to think I used to think anonymous was cool. They should have stuck to trolling scientologists.

While I think feeding the homeless Vegan meals is indeed terrorism, I agree with what Anonymous is doing here. I would never have known about this Orlando thing without Anonymous bringing attention to it. The First Amendment is a sacred thing and people/groups/government should be smacked when they try to challenge it.
