I believe the title was "Looking for a good INTERNET radio station

While I appreciate the spirit of the contributions so far, Sirus and XM radio are WAAAAAAY too expensive for me.

I still would like suggestions for good *internet* alt rock stations.

Thank you

PS: Pay satellite radio is a passing fad, I wouldnt be surprised to see one of the big dish providers pick up the remmanants of what ever is left in five years to roll it into their existing services... Thank you

radioparadise.com perhaps?

And you can download Winamp and just cruise their internet radio selections till you find something you like.  The selections can be organized by genre as well.  From the player itself just click on "File" and choose "Internet Radio".  A new screen should open with all sorts of stations to choose from.  Give "Internet TV" a look too.

What about the XM internet radio streaming service.  It's pay but less than the normal price per month and includes all the XM music channels.  Or do you want totally free?  If so you're probably out of luck since licensing fees and other fees tend to restrict what music can be played.
