I think some volunteer work is in order. I would have recommended the USO, but they don't seem to have a footprint in Georgia. If his honey-do list at home isn't long enough, he could volunteer at House of Heroes to help former military members in need with repairs to their homes. Columbus State University has a long list of volunteer opportunities on their career development page. Alternatively, he could always attend the university and pick up an undergrad or graduate degree. |

Isgrimnur is right, I have volunteered to be a van/bus driver for wounded active duty members. 2-3 times a week I'll be driving them to medical appointments, chow, or to go spider slaying. At least my class C license won't go to waste. |
