So yesterday I forgot about my LeanPockets and left them in my cubicle all day.  I realized that I forgot to put them in the freezer at the end of the day and brought them home and put them in the fridge, thinking I would eat them tomorrow for lunch.

Well, today is that tomorrow, and I am wondering if I could possibly die from eating them.  What do you guys think?  Screw it, eat them or not?  I need the help of my GT buds for this one as it's an important decision!  smile  (While I will admit the fate of humanity isn't exactly at stake here, tempting my own fate is kind of fun right?)   icon_lol  icon_eek

+1

It's supposed to be frozen for a reason.  DO NOT eat the lean pockets.

Eat them.  They are made of chemicals.  Not only will they not kill you, they will preserve your corpse after you are dead.

They're so full of preservatives that a single night at room temp won't affect them.

[disclaimer: personally, I've never eaten them.  So good luck.]

I voted eat them, then I see that my vote ties it up 50-50 between the first two options. Now you have to eat them just to see if both will can be true at the same time (eat them and die  icon_eek).

I think you'll die, but only because of what's actually in them versus the fact that they sat out.

Buy the egg & sausage lean pockets - they're super delicious.

That being said, eat them.  Whatevs.  What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

Heh, seems to be mostly 50/50 with a slight lean towards not eating them.  smile

I split it down the middle and ate just one of the two about ten minutes ago.  If I die or something, I will let you guys know.  smile

I voted for 'eat 'em'.  Hell, it's not my body.  And maybe, just maybe, there'll be some funny post-script I can read about later.

This isn't really a conundrum.  A dilemma, maybe, but certainly not a conundrum.

I've always wondered why you can leave cake and pie and cookies out indefinitely and they're fine, but if you eat a piece of pizza left out over night you'll die a horrible death.

It's the little things I worry about. biggrin

eww...

and i second atb and arkons original sentiments - they are dangerous enough "fresh"

although i had never though about the (equally disgusting) preservative angle

on a side note, ive eaten pizza left out overnight - and next time you should just unwrap the pocket and throw it directly into the toilet - cut out the colon middleman - everyone knows the stomach is already bypassed almost instantly

I have to agree with ATB that this was indeed anti-climatic.  You need to make it up to us DZ.  Go staple your hand to the side of a bus or something else to entertain us with the resulting hilarity  Tongue icon_wink icon_biggrin

Bingo, lol!  But on the other hand I'm of the School of Make It or Break It, when it comes to eating... if it doesn't kill me it will make me stronger. Probably not very well based in logic, so umm disregard anything I say!  thumbsdown  icon_confused thumbsup icon_confused

Edit:  Oops, lmao! I lost my mind and posted after reading half the posts, something I never do!  So, save my advice for the next time...   Roll Eyes
