My daughter Carmen is 2 years old today. She's a huge Sesame Street fan. She knows all the main characters by name and can list them off. She even sings the 'Who Are the People in Your Neighborhood' song. She'll insert their names at random (along with Dora, mommy and daddy, our dogs and anyone else she happened to see in the last year).
I stayed up late last night and drew this on our patio as a surprise for her this morning.
I started at around 11:00 pm with a brand new box of sidewalk chalk that showed a black piece on the box. There was no black chalk inside and I had to make do with gray.
The finished product - An hour and a half, one beer and 24582429 mosquito bites later.
The reveal - She pointed to each one and named them...then proceeded to stomp on Ernie's face.
