Anyone brave this movie?  I have to be honest...Keira Knightly was really the only reason I saw to go see it.  Is that sad or what?

My GF & I went to see it opening day. I thought it was pretty decent, but she loved it (go figure...).

If you do check it out, just bear in mind a few things; remember who made it, don't expect it to be anything like "Excalibur" (one of my all-time favorite movies), and don't expect too much depth. Or historical accuracy if that's important to you, at least as as far as modern research can tell us. It's very much a "Summer Release" IMO.

We liked it, but I wouldn't have paid more than matinee price to see it.

Oh and Miss Knightly looks good in leather, but I'm guessing that you knew that already :wink:

I saw it with some friends. The two girls that went with us enjoyed it more.

We all unanimously voiced the exact same complaint at the end of the movie...

"Man did that ever need an R rating"

Then I read my newest Entertainment Weekly. According to the story in the magazine, King Arthur was originally slated to be a winter release with a more involved story, and an R rating.

Disney decided they wanted it to be a summer release, which they were afraid would get wasted without a PG-13 rating.. so they forced the director to cut/change/edit a lot of his movie.

The R rated cut that the director originally planned will be released on DVD.

Never has the need for a true 3D view been so necessary than with the previous pic.  If I didn't know what I was looking at I would swear her head was pasted on backwards.  Plus with the belt so high it looks like her breasts start in the middle of her abdomen.  I feel more conclusive evidence is needed before I pass judgement.  Maybe a Quicktime VR movie where I can study it from all angles...

That pic of her I saw on the GG thread with her in leather wasn't very flattering.  It was much too binding.

And F me, I didn't know she was Queen Amidala's handmaiden!

Stiffler -  Funny post.  

I saw an interview she did right after Pirates came out.  She mentions the fact that she was not well endowed up top.  She was actually quite funny about it, stating that she wondered if that would ever change.  

I could tell her right now the answer is "No" unless she decides to either put on some weight or get some fakes.

Personally, I still think she is gorgeous.

She seems like a pretty cool person actually.

My God, I hope she never gets implants.  What a horrible waste that would be.  I like them just the way they are.  And if she ever asks I will tell her just that

Fake breasts make me want to pound my head against a wall.  Why?  Unless you lost one due to cancer or an unfortunate incident there is no need.

Yeah, I prefer them smaller anyway.  Great big is a turnoff.  Fake is a crime.

And that's my stance on the breast issue.  I'm sure they are quite perfect.

Now that I have come out and said size doesn't matter I am waiting patiently for women to begin chiming in with the same sentiment!
