he's doing a pilot for one.  it'd be a thirty minute daily show..

now I like Kevin Smith, but I wonder how well he'd hold up over an extended period of time since I'm only used to seeing him in movies.

Kevin Smith is a much better speaker than he is a filmmaker, imho.  He's only had about two films that I would say are actually very good films (Chasing Amy and Clerks), while the rest are just vanity films about ironic hipsters discussing pop culture and trying to capture the formula for Porkys.

His speaking stuff is hilarious... there are a couple DVDs of it you can find - well worth watching.  This seems like a good idea, actually.

Yeah I really enjoy Hollywood Babble On.  Baked, Happy Smith and Drunk, Angry Garman have epic chemistry.
