One of the Marvel characters that's quite popular was in a post credit scene.
Yes. Who?

Yes. Who? Oh, that. I thought the second after credit part had someone.

Just saw it. Great. One of the first superhero movies to really get scale right, hulk was awesome, good teamwork, good humor mixed in.

Best. Superhero. Movie. Ever. I'm going to have to disagree with that. It's an awesome movie, but it's not the best superhero movie ever. agreed. saw it this afternoon and it was fun, but it didn't knock the Nolan Batman movies from their top spots. loved the chemistry between the actors.

Here's a nice Q&A Avengers movie props vid with Marvel Studios Prez Kevin Feige: http://geektyrant.com/news/2012/5/5/avengers-movie-prop-tour-with-kevin-feige.htmlI'm gonna try to catch an ETX show later tomorrow morning, see how that compares with IMAX. Fwiw (I'm more exited most folks love it than the $ figures), looks like it might break the all-time opening weekend box office numbers. I'm doing my part to support it.

So so good, absolutely loved it. Everything was well balanced and everyone seemed to get enough screen time, which just logistically can be tough (I'm thinking Star Trek movies as comparison). I really enjoyed Mark Ruffalo as Hulk much more than I'd expected to, so that was a pleasant surprise. Personally I was looking for a little more of the "Joss Whedon touch" but didn't really see much of it. Maybe some of the scripting and comedy elements. I'm not saying that as a negative, just a comment.

I thought it was pretty fun... one liner overload, but pretty fun.
How did those big things fly?

Btw, even the trailers lineup was awesome: The Amazing Spider-Man Brave (Pixar's latest) The Dark Knight Frankenweenie (Disney animated b/w film by Tim Burton) Prometheus End of Watch (gritty handicam actioner about two LA officers who draw a Mexican cartel's ire) A helluva lot of entertainment from the trailers alone, 20 minutes worth the time spent on trailers was insane. didn't have End of Watch but we had all the others plus The Dictator and Battleship. it was the first time I saw the Prometheus trailer on the big screen and I found the background sound from it rather annoying. I was amazed at how many people left the theater the moment the credits started rolling. by the time the inter-credits scene hit the theater was almost empty.

People still miss this stuff? For every 10 movies that don't have anything there's always one that makes it worth sticking around for 6 extra minutes.

Figures that I get stuck with a bratty five year old kid behind me kicking my seat and yelling. He even went so far as to spray spit mimicking "Hulk's smash." That aside, I really did enjoy the movie. Figures that there was a second scene after the credits that I missed too. I thought the first end scene was it. Great movie! We saw it at a packed 3D Imax theater. One thing I didn't get ...

Saw this earlier today and I'm already planning a second viewing. To me, it's right up there with The Dark Knight for best superhero movie ever. I was surprised at how well each character was used and that no one overshadowed anyone else. Hulk definitely steals the scenes he's in, especially

I hope Joss Whedon can buy solid gold toilet seats off of this and someone at Fox gets fired tomorrow for canceling Firefly.
Whichever is the "best" superhero movie doesn't matter. We are consistently getting good to great superhero movies. Now all they have to do is let Whedon at a video game property.
