James Brown, the legendary Godfather of Soul, has died.  Even if you've never owned one of his albums I think it goes without saying you've heard some of his songs.  He had a long, influential career and his songs have been in numerous movies, television shows and commercials, and even games.

Sure, maybe, but I didn't know who he was until he went nuts in the 90s and got arrested for drugs, etc.

Better than dying on your birthday.  Although there is a strange symmetry to that situation.

He is best remembered for his turn in Rocky IV and the amazingly pompous song: Living in America!

He was a true communist fighter!

In hindsight, it's perfectly obvious that James Brown and Ronald Reagan defeated communism  Tongue

There's a "Free James Brown" joke somewhere in this situation, but I just can't articulate it.
