yawn...sorry.....still not excited. Looks like it 'should' be better than the other 2 but I wont hold my breath. These last 3 Star Wars movies have all been rentals or payperview for me. The original trilogy is still king.

Sure the original films are better. We all know that. But I figure I have nothing to lose going to a two-hour movie. You make your own experience, Padawan!

I think the general opinion that the reviews are pushing is that ROTS is leaps and bounds above Phantom and Clones, but basically on par with Jedi, if not a little better. It doesn't top A New Hope, nor does it top Empire.

I'll be seeing it (along with the rest of the staff currently in LA) this Friday right after E3 closes for all of us. E3 + Star Wars = a whole ton of fun.

I got a question for the Nerdz in the star wars know.
Is Revenge of the Sith going to be shown in digital theaters like Attack of the Clones was??
Here in Virginia I saw Attack of the Clones in a theater which has a Digital Projector (DLP) so I bought tickets already for the same movie theater but when I just called right now to comfirm it would be shown in the DLP theater, the "customer service" rep told me with a tude like you are only the millionth person the ask me this, "NO, Star wars is not being shown in the digital theater!"
I didn't bother asking why because I knew she was going to give me a truck load of tude and the fact she didn't volunteer any information sealed that.
My question is to anyone who knows, is the movie being produced in digital at all???
I remember with Attack of the Clones, Lucas practially gushed about this being an all digital film that would look great in a digital theater.
This time around I find nothing but old news stories about Episode II?
Anyone know?

Yes, it was filmed the same way and if the theatre has that kind of projection, it will be available to view all digital as well.

possibly it would cost them more to get it in digital format or something and they didn't want to pay, or maybe their digital projector is broken?
It will be showing on both DLP screens at my local DLP-enabled theatre.

Goddamnit I am so stoked. I have the ep3 soundtrack, which is just average except for the 1st, 2nd, and last tracks, but the DVD that comes with it is simply outstanding!! If I can get most of my bar app done, I am going to start the marathon of the movies tomorrow night and then get ready for Episode III Thursday at 11:30ish AM. THE FORCE WILL BE WITH ME, BITCHES!

wow, if this movie sucks like the last one there are going to be a lot of seriously depressed geeks.
I count myself among the SW geeks, but Im not getting all hype about it. There's an old saying on Dantoonie— I know it's in Dantoonie, probably in Coruscant — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again.

I used to be a stars wars fan, until they started making the movies again... After the first 3, they should have quit. I`ve always heard bad things about the "new-ish" star wars movies so I haven`t seen them yet. Maybe if this new one does good I`ll watch al the ones I haven`t seen yet. Maybe...

Just got back from seeing the movie. I have to say, this is Lucas's best effort story-wise of all his movies. Plot was tighter than the rest. Ending was sad and I'm sure most of you know why.
Go see it. You won't be let down!
