Honestly you might watch the series once.  I know I brought like 3 of the Robotech Box sets and I have only watched them once.  They are still under my TV set almost brand new

How does the Flinstones hold up?
I haven't watched a Flintstones episode since I was a kid, but I remember watching that and the Jetsons back to back and enjoying both of them.

I'm with you dbt.  I have the entire Robotech series and Macross series and I've watched them more than once.  *shrug*  Dunno...I guess I'm the nostalgic type.  I like bad 80s martial arts movies too.  Maybe I just have no taste. slywink

You're only 57?  Man, from the way you talk about getting old I always had you pegged as 70-80!

Well, I'm a sucker for my favorite things, so I'm already re-watching my complete DS9 DVD collection, despite just purchasing and watching through them two years ago.  slywink  Or was it three?  Somewhere around there.  biggrin

Well,I watched the first episode last night. Not too bad but the animation wasn't as good as the later ones and they're still working on the character development.
All in all tho I wasn't disappointed .

Heh, I took a history of animation class and you'd be amazed what they had the flintstones characters selling in commercials.  One spot had Fred and Barney smoking cigarettes and talking about how great they are.

Of course, no one will show these anymore.

It's been illegal to advertise cigarettes on TV and radio for a while.

That's pretty funny, tho.  I never heard about that; I watched Flintstones reruns as a kid ALL the time.  Great stuff.  "That Barney Rubble, what a great actor!"

I think this is an entirely different topic, really, lol!

I think it's an aging thing.  When I was almost 50, I asked for a yo-yo for Christmas... and have been yo-yoing ever since.  It's fun to rediscover stuff you enjoyed when young.  My joke was "you know you're getting old when you ask for presents that you last asked for when you were ten years old!"  Cool
