Some of the various discussions in the past few weeks got me wondering.  How positive/negative a person are you?

I tend to be pretty positive overall (though sometimes in a cynical way).  I was negative for years, and after a while it just bothered me that everything sucked.  I made an effort to change, and I'm hardly a Polyanna or anything but I prefer it (even if it took more energy to start with).

So, which is it for you?

I've taken some pretty hard knocks in my life.  The glass is half empty with a chip in the rim.

"why'd you put so little in the glass" was the best I could come up with for that  smile -- changed for the obvious symetry...

Who said anything about WATER? It's beer man, and I see it as there is opportunity to fit another half-glass of it right in front of me!  nod

Depends.. If it is related to my direct family, the glass is fillin' right up.

If it is related to the world, economy, government, and people outside of my inner circle, I see the glass as half empty with a crack in the side.

I don't know why, but I've always been a very positive person.
