I just moved to Concord, NC a couple of months ago and I live in the historic district.  So this is my first Halloween here.

It's insane.  There' literally a couple of thousand kids on the 3-4 blocks in front of my house.  They're standing 10 deep just to get candy.  In front of one house, there's a crowd of (no kidding) 25-30.  I've seen few people at Disneyland.  You can't even walk on the sidewalks there's so many people around.  It's unbelievable.

No, I don't wish this on anyone.

A few hundred kids would be ok.  A couple of thousand is just overload.

I live in the country..well barely..the damn city limits has snuck to just up the road from me......anyways for the last few years we've gotten ZERO trick or treaters..its great.....dont have to fool with them plus I get all the candy for myself. Of course i get paid back for my attitude later in the year during dentist visits.

What drives me nuts is when we see people getting bussed into our sub.  A worn down rusted out piece of shit cargo van will pull up and 30 trick or treaters will overflow out of it.  These wannabe ghetto gangsters don't even say "thank you" after they get their candy.

I think we had a dozen trick-or-treaters all night.  frown

My co-workers are getting a bunch of candy tomorrow. No way we're keeping therr almost-full bags of sweets in the house.

I had ZERO trick-or-treaters in my apt. complex.

I watched HellBoy on dvd, a pretty uneventful Halloween.

I played a hell of a lot of Dead or Alive: Ultimate, and some UT2k4 with Zaxxon & Crew.

We had no trick or treaters either, but then the fact that you can't even see our house from the street is usually a good deterrent. I think our record year was 7 coming to the door, and one was a group of 5, so the doorbell only actually rang twice.

We always just buy one bag of like Reese cups or something, and give two or three to every kid.

Unfortunately, this year nobody came. They get lazier every year I tell ya smile
