Sweet!  Now I can get all those things I wanted as a kid!  I'll just order this; then buy an original 80's version Battlestar Galactica flight jacket off ebay; hit up some conventions until i find a pair of spock ears; and take my old 25 foot multi-colored tom baker, dr. who scarf out of the closet and head down to the mall.  i'll be the most stylin' 41 year old around!

...thankfully, due to my diligent oral hygiene, the police will be able to identify my body through dental records.

Already have a fedora.  It's black, not brown, but for $99 I think it'll be just fine.

Hmm, I see it all the time at Disneyland and they're way cheaper there, I think $30-$40.  Doesn't come with a hat box though and possibly not of the same quality as the $100 one on ThinkGeek, but looks just as cool (or dorky).

If anyone wants one, I can see how much it is next time I go to Disneyland and pick one up, just pay me cost + shipping.

Actually, I bought mine about 6 years ago during a trip to Disney.

What? It's not like I wear it or anything... It's a conversation piece!

I would imagine you would have a greater chance of wearing that in public than most light saber owners would of wearing theirs in public. slywink

That said, I would totally wear this in public if it didn't cover up my mohawk.

I wouldn't want one branded as Indiana Jones, which I did see before, but I considered getting one earlier.  I am still looking for a hat to wear with my suit or sportcoat while teaching.  Sometimes weather encourages hat use but it is hard to find a good hat these days to wear with business attire.

I actually own a straw cowboy hat with a Corona logo. This would be a major step up for me.

Well....its not exactly the same as the one on that link.  A bunch of them were made for my company, promoting our company tie in with the movie.  Hence why in exactly 4 hours 1 minute, I get to go to the PRE-SCREENING!!  I'll make sure I post whether its worth seeing or not!

I bought an official Fedora.   In fact it looks like the same one being sold at that link.

I bought mine direct from the official source though:   www.indianajones.com

It was $44.   It was 100% wool.   It's a real hat, has a silky cloth lining inside, and has the Indiana Jones logo on the inside.

I was amazed at the quality of the hat.   I mean if it wasn't an Indy hat, it would still be a fine quailty hat.

For the record:   The ones for sale on indianajones.com are much much higher quailty than the ones from Disney.

This is the tie in:  Watch the commercial

The movie was AWESOME.  I'm not going to give it away, but out of 5 stars - I would give it 4.5.  I will discuss it in another thread once the movie comes out in the theaters.  Its definitely fun - and I would probably see it again!

Hmm, that looks just like the ones they sell at Disneyland.  The price is about the same as well.  I wonder if it's the same one.

Not sure about Disneyland.   Disney World Indy hats aren't anything like the one they sent me.   I mean the hat is nice and stiff like it should be.   It has a leather (or pleather?) inside rim with silky material lining it inside.    Cap it off by the crown of the hat inside having a nice thick clear rubber material as lining.    Hard to describe, but extremely high quailty.
