#1. Boxster S. With all of the HAWT options, it ticks in around 95k #1A. The family man's Porsche: Panamera 4S. 4 doors of extreme lust. Starts just under 100k.

Tesla Model S Performance. Though I don't really need that... I'd be perfectly happy with a Model S 85kWH.

Under $100k, I have to go with the Nissan GT-R. My real dream car is a Porsche 911 Carrera 4S, but you can't get one of those for less than six figures anymore...

Boxster was my first reaction. It's what my Miata wants to be when it grows up. I love me a 2-seat roadster.

Have you looked into the (no longer sold) Toyota MR2 Spyder? It shares a common ancestry with the Boxster but is much more affordable. edit: turns out that's an old wives tale and they arose through parallel evolution.

Put me in the GT-R camp.
Or you could fit a nice Audi S6 fully loaded in under that price...

Weirdly I'm actually deciding between the Tesla and the Boxter you want as my next car. The Porsche might win simply due to it's ability to fit in my garage.

It's unlikely that there will ever be another new car in my future. I just don't make anywhere near enough money to contemplate a car payment. But since my Mazdaspeed's only got 32k miles after nine years I might be able to keep it going for another 20 years or so, after which time I should be safely dead. This being a fantasy thread, I'm sticking with the Boxster. I rather like those BMW Z4s, too.

1.21 gigawatts! Actually, I'm approaching 285,000 miles on my '96 Corolla. I'm torn between replacing it or just driving it until it disintegrates around me.

mine would be a world war II era (call it '39 - '45) packard 6 - ive seen them between 40 and 80K - im hoping to one day stumble on "the one" thats the wonderful mixture of restored and original because i (unfortunately ) lack the skill to do it myself. actually being able to work on a vintage vehicle is one of those "things" i wish i could do and hope someday to learn *edit* though the early thirties are really sexy too*

I had a '69 GTO Judge when I was younger and damn it was fun after it got fixed up. Lots of good times in that car. Ended up selling it to help pay off college loans.

The Judge was the fastest version of the GTO. I remember the first time seeing one. Bright, bright orange, with bold lettering "Judge". That name came from the Rowan and Martin's Laugh-in..."here come da judge, here come da judge".
There are tons more sophisticated, faster, flashier cars to be had for under 100k. I would still love to have a fully restored GTO in my drive. Hurst shifter, headers, holley carb, thrush muffler..................and awaaaaay we go...................................
