Since my original post I've stopped shaving and have since grown a formidable mound of facial hair.

I always start growing one around septmeber and shave it off again at the beginning of spring.
I hate shaving but I hate the beard too.
Yesterday I went and got a crewcut. The first one I've had since I left the service in 75.Boy,does that feel good!

Love having a beard here as well it's a shame the new job I'm getting says we can't have any facial hair though. Real shame, remember Sylvester Stallone saying on Jay Leno one night about his goatee "it's kind of like having a little pet" as he strokes it.

I've been not shaving the past couple weeks, just to see what kind of beard I'd end up with.  From what I can tell, that type is "sparse and unconnected."  Guess I'll have to stick with my "not-quite-a" goatee.
