Bravo, makes me want to dig up my precious Frank Miller Daredevil comics. And maybe mash them up with the Peanuts anthology I'm giving my nephew for his birthday. 

Of course, a Peanuts^TM Geek would point out Charlie Brown and Linus were on the same team. I think Lucy pulling the football away from CB would make an even funnier Frank Miller parody.

Thanks a lot! That's pretty funny, but now you have me thinking of things like: "If Gahan Wilson did Charlie Brown Comics."  It's probably best to just NOT go there!

Oldie but a goodie, Peanuts by Charles Bukowski.

“There was this one guy, Linus.  He had found religion and would never shut up about it.  Every time you turned around, it was The Great Pumpkin this and The Great Pumpkin that.  On and on, it was enough to drive you crazy.  Branaski often found himself dropping the nickel on a shrink just to rant about how nuts this guy was.

“Every day the same thing!  If I have to hear about this Great Pumpkin one more time I’m going to wring his scrawny neck!”

I'm STILL laughing at the Bukowski does Peanuts site.  Every one of the stories is a gem.
