My father has an odd way of tying his shoes that involves "tossing" one of the strings over.  I've watched him do it a bunch of times, and can not duplicate his method.

I'm on a pointless conference call.  Apparently that's called "Representing my department" but I call it dull.

I'm ready to be done with this call...

You know, tying my shoes actually became a significant milestone for me this week. Last weekend I managed to seriously injure my knee while skiing, which leaves me with a very limited (and painful) degree of motion in it. Sometime during the middle of the week I was able to bend down enough to tie my own shoes, which I needed help to do up until then. Victory!

I farted in my office and I just left it and walked back in to see if it was still in the air. It's still in the air.  thumbsdown

Just got out of a marketing meeting with an asbestos abatement contractor interested in working with my company.  Obviously that isn't too terribly significant, but the cookies they brought with them certainly were.   drool

Don't underestimate the joy of tying one's shoes! Last year at this time I had split the tendon in my thumb in two and I had to tie my shoes with my fingertips for several months after. That shit ain't easy.
