The fiance and I went to see Silver Linings Playbook last night and were greatly impressed. Which would explain the 8 nominations that it's received including all four actor categories. Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence are excellent in the leads.
Of course, I expect the Academy to just hand every award that DDL wants to him, maybe stopping long enough to wipe the drool off of them.
I'm going to make sure the fiance has no desire to see Zero Dark Thirty and may see it on a night she's working. I still want to see Argo. Depending on her reaction, we may or may not try to take in Life of Pi and/or Lincoln in the near future.
