I love that there's a "Gone Gold" type section and a front page with gaming news.  Gives me the old GG nostalgia feel.  I used to check that gone gold page all the time.

I kind of wish I had discovered this one prior to OO, it was all just kind of random for me.

Anyway, whatever happens with OO, I think I may just end up parking myself here instead.   ninja2

I appreciate the compliment.  I know we do more news on the front page than GameSpot and IGN combined in a day.  smile

I'll still be going back and forth between forums, but I think GT will be my "must visit at least once a day" page.  I really like the full spread of game news in the front.

Man, those things were priceless.  One of these days I am going to scour my graveyard of hard drives and see if I get lucky and can find any of them.  If not, hopefully I'll be able to work something out in AoC Tongue

I suppose all those old wanderer site screenshot galleries we used to have are all long gone by now.

BTW, on an unrelated side note, all these new smilies are awesome! Who needs a new game when I can play with these all day!  bowdown

I think I still have some somewhere of the Viet Cong rampage we had in SW:G, and one of the first house parties we had.  I'm also pretty sure I've still got the old U.S. map of the Wanderers' locations in some dusty corner of a hard drive somewhere.

Even better, if you find a particular smiley that screams awesome, Ron may even upload it!

I like GT - not only for the beverages - but I'd always had the mistaken impression before that their PC forums weren't as active. However, there's plenty of interesting threads about current stuff. So hat's off (waves tentacles wildly)  headbang

That would work. Kind of known with SA though. But I do love the smiley. Should just leave it Truthiness! I think.

Even after numerous requests, I doubt we will ever see a fabulous smiley.  Especially not with :peterock: or Fabulous as code.

NO CHANCE!

P.S.  I think I mentioned this before but I have to say I really love that I am rewarded (with new smileys I haven't seen before of course!) when I click the "Go Down" button.    The Weghted Companion Cube will never threaten to stab you.

WTF?

When the hell did you add that?  I swear it wasn't there before.

EDIT:  Okay, I'm not exactly savvy with online programming, but I laughed my ass off when I right-clicked on the sugarcookie smiley and selected "properties", and I laughed even harder when I passed my cursor over it.   icon_lol

Some might even go so far as to call it "fabulous."  I think that little bonus is my favorite part.
